After we drove up the coast and saw what Maine really has to offer (antiques, ice cream and lobster), we made it to our cute house. We must have passed at least 100 of each along the Maine turnpike. Dad and Sherri got in late Saturday night and we all crashed. We got to enjoy breakfast at Jordan's Pancake House, play in the backyard and then head out for the whale watching trip.
These were some yummy seafood crepes we had the first night at Portside Grill.
They tell you to dress warmly because it can be 20 degrees cooler out on the water. They WERE not kidding.
The boat ride out to sea took about an hour or so with the boat going 30 knots. We all wanted to take a nap but Ryan was the only one that succeeded.
And then the whales started. We were very lucky and saw about humpback 15 whales. We also saw a few sharks and seals. We saw some mama whales with their calfs. The whales were AMAZING. It was definitely one of the coolest things we have ever done.

That night for dinner we went out to Geddy's for fish and chips and lobster. Yummmmy. The boys wouldn't really even try it.
