Museum of the City of New York

There are SOO many museums in NYC that we would never make it to all of them with the kids. This one is pretty close though and we decided to try it out with them. There was an entire exhibit on Hurricane Sandy and you could even listen to recordings of people talking about the devastation.  Andrew was getting emotional listening to one about someone losing their house and the man going in to save his cat.

The graffiti exhibit was another really cool one and gave a lot of history. After that, the kids moved quickly and a lot of the stuff was over their head.

On the walk home we stopped to play at a still snow covered playground. Come 'on Spring!
