We were in the city for the 4th this year and didn't really have any plans in the scorching heat. We decided to get together and cook out with our friends Mary, Dennis and Quinn on their beautiful patio.
We made all these festive yummy treats. If you look at the picture above you can tell Ryan made his with all blueberries and marshmellows.
Andrew caught his first lightening bug in NYC!
Mary and I then took the big boys to see the fireworks over on the West Side. They did great getting there and watching them, but the walk home was brutal since Ryan fell asleep as I carried him. The fireworks were beautiful and I am really glad we got to see them this year even if the boys were up suuuuper late.
