We were sooo excited to stay in the city this year for the balloon inflation and the parade on Thanksgiving! We took the bus over around 4 in the afternoon and took our stuff to spend the night at our friends Mary and Dennis' apartment because they live right on the parade route. Just before we left, our neighbor gave us a pass to walk on the sidewalk of the inflation instead of with the masses. It was AMAZING. Hopefully if we stay next year we can get that pass again!
Not a lot of great pictures. I was trying to play with the settings on my camera and of course never really figured it out.
It ended up being a beautiful night out and wasn't really too cold. We went over to some KPMG friends afterwards for dinner and to let the kids play before we headed out. It is so nice to have this built in friend network!
