Roosevelt Island

We finally marked another item off our NYC Bucket List-take the tram over to Roosevelt Island! We met up with our friends Mary (and Allison and Alex) and Mary (and Quinn). The kids LOVED riding the tram over the East River and Ryan squealed with delight. 

 There is a lighthouse at the end of the island which isn't great, but something cool for the kids to see.

We found a great playground in the shade and stayed there for awhile and played. I'll definitely take the kids back on a slightly cooler day and maybe take some lunch. Great little morning trip to burn them out!
