Grandma got to come visit for a few days and be a part of some of Andrew's birthday celebrations. We took Mom and the kids to see The Lion King on Broadway and it did NOT disappoint. It was an amazing show. Besides eating A LOT of food, I think the boys liked it. The costumes were simply amazing.
One day we went down to Grand Central to walk around and try out the whispering gallery. It is a cool archway where you can stand diagonal and whisper into the corner and the other person can hear you.
That afternoon we headed up to the BEAUTIFUL Conservatory Gardens. It reminds me a lot of Sherwood Gardens in Baltimore. The tulips and trees were almost all in full bloom. He did love Grandma by the end...as long as Momma wasn't around.
Some jumping action shots!
One afternoon we trekked down to Seredipitys for their famous frozen hot chocolate. Had I known they didn't have high chairs, Mom and I would have gone alone. The kids certainly enjoyed hot chocolate and chocolate cake for dinner that night though!
We are so glad you got to come and visit us in NYC one last time Grandma! We love you!
